It is just as easy to reach the city centre. National and international trains arrive every day at Santa Apolónia station, which is very close to all the traditional neighborhoods and Terreiro do Paço. But if you wish to add a unique architectural experience to your arrival, get off at Gare do Oriente, whose Calatrava-designed lines are really impressive, even for those who see it every day.

Lisboa card can be bought for 24h, 48h and 72h and offers a free transportation on the Lisbon Metro subway and buses, trams, lifts of CARRIS lines, CP Train Lisboa -Sintra, Lisboa - Cascais, Lisboa - Azambuja, Fertagus Lisboa - Setúbal. Navegante card
The Navegante occasional card can be used in all member operators and can be purchased and loaded on Ticket Vending Machines and Ticket Offices.
The card can be charged with individual ride tickets or with pay as you go ‘zapping’ credit that is valid for all members operators (Carris, Metro, Transtejo, CP, Fertagus, Metro Sul do Tejo, Rodoviária de Lisboa and TST).
